Chelsea's season went from bad to worse as they lost 5-0 against their bitter rivals, Arsenal, in a one-sided London Derby. Trossard opened the scoring for the Gunners just 4 minutes in with a clinical finish and took his goal tally to 10 in the 23–24 season of the Premier League. The first half was very end-to-end as Chelsea found a foot in the game and were creating chances. Kai Havertz and Ben White were also on the scoresheet, as their four goals combined resulted in one of the most iconic scorelines in the history of this fixture.

This emphatic victory will serve as a confidence boost for the Gunners, who just returned to winning ways against Wolves after losing two back-to-back games against Aston Villa and Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League. Their stellar performance also took them to the top of the table, as they stand 3 points clear of Liverpool and 4 points clear of the defending champions of the Premier League, Manchester City.

Chelsea, on the other hand, had a disastrous few days as they lost against Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday. Currently sitting in the 9th spot in the Premier League, and after their defeat in the Carabao Cup final, Chelsea has lost all the competitions they were competing for and will go trophyless this season as well.
It's difficult for them to even qualify for any form of European competition as well.

This loss is the heaviest defeat for the Blues in the London derby since 1986. Many fans are highlighting the absence of Cole Palmar as the reason for Chelsea's defeat.
It will be interesting to see how Chelsea will overcome this rough patch, as their project has not shown any progress so far.

After 32 matches, they are nowhere near the European spots, and as the season comes to a close, Chelsea will feel disappointed considering the massive sum of money they spent making this team better.
This loss will be a bitter pill to swallow for the Chelsea players and fans, as it came against their biggest rivals. Arsenal, on the other hand, is looking fully equipped to win the league title after a drought of 20 long years.

The title race for the Premier League is heating up, and the spotlight on this enthralling title race will now turn to Liverpool and Manchester City. Liverpool will face Everton in a Merseyside derby before Manchester City takes on Brighton. Manchester City have two games in hand right now, and victories in both of them will lead them to the top. This is an important point to keep in mind.
