Prime Minister Modi noted that the budget resonates with the aspirations of young India, spotlighting two pivotal decisions. Firstly, a substantial fund of Rs 1 lakh crore earmarked for research and innovation signifies the government's dedication to fostering technological advancements. Secondly, the announcement of expanded tax exemptions for startups aligns with the vision to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit.
Highlighting a historic milestone, Modi underscored the allocation of Rs 11 lakh 11 thousand 111 crore for capital expenditure while maintaining fiscal discipline. He proudly showcased the government's achievements, including the construction of over 4 crore houses for the underprivileged, coupled with an ambitious target of 2 crore additional new houses.
Shifting focus to women empowerment, Modi mentioned the initial goal of creating 2 crore women Lakhpati Didi, which has now been elevated to an even more ambitious target of 3 crore.
