Earthquake Tremors Jolt Parts Of Northern Nepal; No Damage Reported
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre confirmed that the tremor was also felt in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city. Despite the quake being perceptible, there have been no reports of any significant damage thus far.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 struck parts of Northern Nepal on Sunday, with its epicenter reported at Juredunga in Rasuwa district, approximately 130 km away from Kathmandu. The tremor occurred at 9:44 am local time.
Fortunately, no damage or casualties were reported following the seismic event. This incident comes in the wake of another earthquake last week, measuring 4.3 magnitude, which hit Western Nepal.
