Kangana Ranaut Gets Trolled For Attacking Tejasvi Surya Instead Of Tejashwi Yadav
The Mandi Lok Sabha constituency will go to the polls in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on June 1.
Kangana Ranaut has been making many headlines since her switch from movies to politics but it was for all the wrong reasons this time around. Kangana Ranaut was attending a public rally in the Sundernagar area of Mandi Parliamentary Constituency, where she took many shots aimed at the leaders of Congress. In her attempt to target Congress's Tejashwi Yadav, she ended up attacking her colleague Tejasvi Surya, who is the BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from the Bengaluru South constituency in Karnataka.
In an attempt to take a dig at The Congress, Kangana Ranaut said, "There is a party of spoiled princes like Rahul Gandhi, who wants to grow potatoes on the moon, or Tejasvi Surya, who does hooliganism and shows off while eating fish.".
RJD leader and former Bihar deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was supposed to be the original target of Kangana Ranaut, but the similarity in the names—Tejashwi and Tejasvi—led to her misunderstanding him as Tejasvi Surya. Tejashwi Yadav was seen eating fish in a video, and it became a major flashpoint between the BJP and the opposition recently.
Kangana Ranaut has been very vocal in criticizing the Congress party ever since the BJP chose her as their Lok Sabha candidate from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi. Congress leaders Vikramaditya Singh—her opponent in Mandi—and Rahul Gandhi have been the main targets on her dartboard.

This fumble has caused a massive uproar over the internet, as many are making fun of Kangana Ranaut for her mistake. Responding to one such troll, Tejashwi Yadav responded to the clip of the incident, saying, "Who is this lady?"
The Congress hit back at the actor-turned-politician by saying that she should check the facts about the leaders of the Bhartiya Janta Party and even questioned her qualifications, on which she got a BJP ticket from Mandi.
