Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Witnessed Massive Turnout For Phase One
PM Modi is optimistic about the voting, as he said that this massive turnout is due to the support the NDA is getting from the voters.
The first phase of Lok Sabha elections began on April 19th, and it witnessed an incredible turnout of over 60%. Voting polls were held in areas such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.
Such a massive turnout percentage shows that voters are aware of their duty and know the value of their vote in the context of the future of this country. Their vote can decide the future representatives of the parliament and holds massive significance. The inaugural phase of Lok Sabha elections will cover 102 areas where people will vote across 21 states and Union territories.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is looking to secure its third consecutive term with the slogan "Abki baar 400 paar."
