Srikanth Movie Review: Rajkumar Rao Delivers A Powerful Performance As Srikanth Bolla
Srikanth Trailer

Srikanth is a breath of fresh air in the biopic genre as it drifts away from the glorified portrayal and delves into a more subtle presentation of the character. The film is based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, a successful industrialist who dreams of becoming the first blind president of India. Rajkumar Rao is the heart and soul of the film and will impress you a lot with his brilliant acting.

The film is set to release on May 10th, and it deserves to have a good run at the box office, which is going through a low phase right now. When you consider the positive response the official trailer for the film received on its release, It is expected that fans will definitely visit the theaters to support this beautiful project. 'Srikanth' is not glorified for the sake of attracting the masses, and that's the reason it connects with its audience and leaves a lasting impact. The biopic follows the journey of the man who overcomes all the challenges he faces in life with his intellect despite being visually impaired.

Rajkumar Rao excels in portraying the internal struggle of the character that comes with his success. Jyothika does a great job as Devika, who was Srikanth's encouraging teacher. Ravi, the friend and business partner of Srikanth, is played by Sharad Kelkar. Alaya F is lovely as Srikanth's love interest. However, her character needed more development. She could have had a deeper role beyond just being a romantic part of the story.

Srikanth was written by Sumit Purohit and Jagdeep Sidhu, and despite it being a simple narrative, director Tushar Hiranandani has done a phenomenal job of giving it life. He perfectly explores the life of Srikanth Bolla and effortlessly portrays his struggles to change the perception and treatment of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in our country.

The soundtrack of the film is its weak point but the inclusion of Papa Kehte Hain from Qayamat See Qayamat takes it to a whole other level. Srikanth is an honest portrayal of an inspirational figure that will leave you feeling motivated. It ignites a fighting spirit for you to never give up on your dream. It will be interesting to see how the film will perform at the box office and how well it will be received by the audience
