Swati Maliwal the Rajya Sabha MP of The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). She filed an FIR against Bibhav Kumar on Thursday stating that she was physically assaulted by him when both of them were present in the official residence of CM Arvind Kejriwal. At first, it looked like the party would stand with Swati Maliwal as Sanjay Singh stated that Arvind Kejriwal is very serious about the case and actions will be taken against the one who is guilty. But that is not looking to be the case anymore because the official X handle of AAP has posted a video stating, "The truth of Swati Maliwal."

Swati Maliwal is seen to be very angry in the video as she is exchanging heated words with the security team present there. The Delhi Police have stated that they have not authenticated the video yet, but this tweet from the official handle of the Aam Aadmi Party sheds light on the change in stance of the party. Their response comes out of nowhere is painting Swati Maliwal as the culprit.
After the video was released, Swati Maliwal came out and said that the video was released "out of context." She also accused the "political hitman" of trying to save his neck by releasing this video. She said that the entire truth will be unveiled when the CCTV footage from the house of Arvind Kejriwal is released. She also questioned," Who makes a video of someone being beaten up?" in her post on X.
